Emergency at home? Don’t worry. Here’s what to do.
When things go wrong at home – fire, burglary, storm, flood etc, it can be a difficult time. But we’re here to help you, whatever time of the day or night it is.
Please read your policy booklet to see if you have Emergency Home Repair. If so, this means if there’s an emergency at home, we’re here to help you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Here’s a list of what qualifies for Emergency Home Repair:
- emergency plumbing;
- blocked drains and toilets;
- internal electrics;
- roof damage;
- external glass;
- locks and keys.

If anything has gone wrong with any of the above, all you need to do is call our Emergency Home Repair number 091 501 688 at any time of the day or night. If possible, have your policy number to hand.
And we’ll do the rest!
For general home claim queries, call us on 1850 85 8530. We’ll appoint a dedicated person to manage all aspects of your claim and they will explain the next steps to you. Their first job will be to put you in touch with the right tradesmen you need to get things fixed.
The same claims advisor will be with you for the whole claims process, from start to finish, and will keep in touch with you throughout to let you know what’s going on.

Emergency Home Repair covers the cost of the call-out, labour and materials up to €260 for each emergency and up to four emergencies within any one period of insurance.
• Will it affect my no-claims bonus?
If you make a claim under Emergency Home Repair, it will not affect your no-claims discount.
