Why does RedClick contact you?

RedClick can contact you to remind you that your insurance is due to be renewed or give you more information on a quote you have received. Also, we will use the details you have given us to provide information about our products and services and those of other companies in the Generali Group and other companies whose products and services may interest you.  

This contact is made by several communication methods and traditional correspondence, as you can see below.  

We may also use your information for these purposes after your policy has ended unless you ask us not to. However, we will not do so if you have already told us you do not want this information. 

How and when does a contact occur?

From time to time, we may contact you using the information you have provided concerning our products and services in any of the following ways:

  1. by phone  
  2. by post  
  3. by email  
  4. by text message  
  5. through digital and/or other remote applications  

We might contact you:

  1. about an enquiry you have made;  
  2. with relevant products or services offers;  
  3. about your policy or quote;  
  4. to ask for your feedback/views on the products and services we provide;  
  5. to tell you about any significant changes to our website; or  
  6. when there is another genuine reason for doing so.  

How to opt-out  

You can change your mind about receiving marketing information from us at any time. Each time we contact you electronically with marketing information or a marketing message, you can choose not to receive further marketing information from us to that email address or phone number. This is known as an 'opt-out'. If you want to 'opt-out', please call us or send an email.  

Please make sure you tell us about any changes to your marketing preferences for each affected address, email address or phone number you have registered with us.  

By going ahead with a RedClick insurance quote or policy or by giving us personal information, including sensitive personal information (as more particularly described in our Privacy Policy and General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR), you will be explicitly agreeing to us, our agents, other insurers and the other persons described in this notice (and/or in the Privacy Policy and General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR) processing it for all relevant purposes including but not limited to those described in this notice. Before you provide us with any information about others, you should ensure they know how we will use their data and have agreed to this. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have obtained the permission of any such persons and have shown this notice to them to allow us to process their personal data for the purposes outlined in this notice.
